5 Defects of Over Hydration.
According to medical professionals drinking water is
essential for the health of the body. It fulfills the fluid requirements so
that our body performs its functions correctly.
But what happen, when a person begin to drink too much
water?
Over hydration is also dangerous like dehydration. Drinking
too much water reduces the level of sodium in our somatic cells.
Some of the disadvantages of drinking too much water are as
follows:-
1) Nausea and vomiting
Drinking too much water causes nausea and vomiting. The
symptoms of drinking too much water are the same as that of dehydration. Our
kidneys have their own limitations. When someone drinks too much water the
kidneys are unable to remove the extra water, resulting in unpleasant symptoms
such as vomiting, nausea and diarrhea etc.
2) All day long headache
Headaches are possibly due to over hydration or dehydration.
Drinking too much water reduces salt level in our body somatic cells, and also
causes our cells to expand in size. Due to this the volume of our brain increases
resulting in headaches. It also leads to some serious diseases such as
difficulty in breathing and mental imbalance.
3) Swelling Hands, lips and feet
Drink more water may be the sign of swelling of the hands,
lips and feet, because it results in growth of cells and compels the body
weight to increase. If you drink more than ten glasses of water and having
swollen hands, lips and feet you should decrease the amount of fluid.
4) Weak muscles
The balance of healthy and fully functional body is very
important, when you take too much water it declines physical balance, it also
reduces electrolytes in our body causing weak muscles and torn skin surfaces.
5) Fatigue or Vertigo
Kidneys are dedicated to filter the water in the body. They
are responsible for balanced fluid levels in the blood, but when we drink too
much water our kidneys are affected. They have to over work so the hormones in
the body are affected causing physical fatigue. It seems that If you have
trouble getting up from bed its possibly because of increased pressure on your
kidneys.
